Wild Water was founded in 1990 by Christian Güller and Patrick Hennig in Oberkulm, Switzerland.
The two school friends had already jammed together before and had their first practice room
around 1985 in Teufenthal in the basement of an old house. The band didn't have a name yet
and a lot of people came over to jam. After moving from the practice room to Suhr,
JC came on the drums. It was during this time that the name Wild Water came into being.
Rough, hard, wild like our music. We stayed there for 10 years and recorded 5 DLPs from 1995 - 1999.
However, only 2 copies per LP. One for Christian and one for me (Patrick).
Since we are crazy record collectors, we wanted to have an Lp of our band between Free
and Ten Years After. YT posts of our tracks resulted in a number of requests for LPs.
So in 2022 we decided to publish Mess Of Rock for the first time as a private press.
Now we have found a label with Andy from ClostridiumRecords that is releasing
our 2nd official LP Restrict Life. We hope there will be many more LPs to come.
All tracks were recorded live and recorded analogue in the band room on an 8-track reel tape recorder.
On some tracks, a second lead guitar was also recorded.
